HOW WE GOT STARTED
One of the top bathroom remodeling service providers in the US, having remodeled over one million bathrooms, Re-Bath ascends from a long history of success. Starting out almost 40 years ago Re-Bath offered bathtub liners to hotels and motels. Using machines rented from a local plastics company, Re-Bath was able to fulfill services while working out of the founder’s home. Today, we operate out of a 165,000 square foot facility in Tempe, Arizona.
The Re-Bath dealer network was formed in 1982, and bathtub liners were made available in the residential remodeling market direct to homeowners. Our bathtub liners were the first to be tested and approved by the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC). In 1984, we earned national contracts with Best Western, Quality Inn and Holiday Inn. With this volume of product, manufacturing with state-of-the-art machinery became a necessity.
Re-Bath's dealer network was eventually switched to a franchise model. This new business system led the way to an expansion of our product offering to include wall surrounds, shower bases, accessories, and liners in many styles and colors. Re-Bath continued to innovate, developing a flowable sealant and improved slip-resistant surfaces. By 1998 Re-Bath owned 95% of the market share in hotel and motel bathtub liners and retrofit wall surrounds and supported 80 franchises.
WHERE WE ARE TODAY
Re-Bath began the 21st Century by welcoming its 100th franchise to the network. From 2003 to 2011 we became full-service bathroom remodelers and added even more products such as replacement bathtubs, shower bases, and our cutting-edge DuraBath™ SSP material.
Today, Re-Bath solidifies its full bathroom remodeling capabilities by partnering with dozens of national product vendors like Moen, Bertch, Arizona Shower Doors, Avaire and many more.
